Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Des Moines Metro Opera’s board of directors have decided to cancel the 2020 summer festival. In lieu of the live performances, they are partnering with Iowa Public Television to present Emmy-award winning performances of Billy Budd, Rusalka, Le Comte Ory, Manon, and Bon Apetit! both on television and online.
